massage experience and incredible bargain, May 16, 2008

"Good Hands Massage was absolutely the best I've ever had.
My friend and I had their signature 2 hour massage special -- and
it was amazing. The staff was warm and welcoming and incredibly
skilled. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind
and good-humored. We didn't even have an appointment, and that was
no problem -- we were treated as if we were their most important
clients. I haven't ever had a male masseuse before, but he was outstanding
and there was nothing uncomfortable about it at all. I had just
run a half-marathon a few days prior and he seemed to sense, without
me verbally telling him, exactly where my muscles needed attention.
Comparing notes with my friend, we each had massages that were similar
but different -- tailored to our own specific needs. The place has
an unpretentious family feel to it (we even met their adorable toddler
when we paid at the end). We used some SpaFinder gift certificates
we had purchased at Costco. I went in feeling a little skeptical
(as in, what can I expect from a place in Vegas offering such a
reasonable price?) and came out feeling like I had found the best
place around. It's not a fancy place, so you know that the money
you pay is going to the quality of the service, not the interior
decor. I absolutely recommend the reflexology treatment (I've never
been so relaxed) included in their signature service. Also, although
it's only a block from the strip, it was a very long way from our
hotel, so I recommend driving or taking a taxi (about $15 each way
to the South Strip area). Good Hands will definitely be a must on
any of my future visits to Las Vegas."

"I thought that this place was great. The service was friendly
and understanding. I purchased the spa package for 99$ as a gift
for my Mom and let me tell you it totally worth it. Right when you
walk in, the ambient is very relaxing. They took their time with
my mom and no one else walked in when my mom getting her massage-it
was all very private. It was my mom's first time getting a massage
and overall it was very relaxing. As a local I can say that it's
not that far from the strip, especially if your staying at New York
or the MGM, I would recommend this to others and I'm definately
going back for myself."

"Good Hands has no pretension of being upscale in decor, but
the expertise and warmth that is expressed can not be matched. The
services are superb: I had facial, massage with accupressure and
ear candling. I did go on a weekday and things were quiet and soothing.
I look forward to returning."
